Event Information

This year's Academy will be hosted in St. Meinrad, IN, just 60 miles west of Louisville, KY. Our conference center is nestled in the hills and beautiful wooded area of Southern Indiana. Our facilities include full sleeping and meeting space, as well as a weight room, recreation area/basketball courts, TV lounges, and more!

Friday, January 13

Registration for the "A"s' Academy begins as early as 3:00pm, so those who are driving are free to arrive any time after that. For brothers flying in to Louisville, flights need to arrive between before 7:00 p.m. EST so we can shuttle you back to Saint Meinrad in time for the start of the Academy. We begin with introductions, and a kick-off event at 8:00 p.m. CST& followed by a small group meeting where you will have the chance to meet the group and facilitators you'll be spending the majority of your weekend with!

Saturday, January 14

Breakfast runs until 8:30, and we begin the program at 9:00 a.m. with a variety of team-building activities that you energize you for the day! Throughout the day, we'll discuss a variety of topics including leadership, values, ethical decision making and our purpose. We'll take a group photo& and of course, provide you with lunch, dinner and a snack!

Sunday, January 15

Breakfast will again go until 8:30 a.m. and we'll begin the day at 9:00 a.m. First thing in the morning you will sit through a presentation led by one of the Delta Chi staff members titled: Chapter Management 101. Here you will learn a wide variety of topics related to Delta Chi Chapter operations. You will have the opportunity to discuss with your small group, and diagnose your the issues that you feel are crucial to focus on within your Chapter. Your facilitators will assist you in creating a plan, and help you determine the best course of action moving forward. This will allow you the opportunity to have several action items as you prepare to head home. Lunch, dinner and snacks will be provided.

Monday, January 16

Your final breakfast at St. Meinrad will run until 8:30 a.m., and we will begin at 8:45 a.m.. You'll have an opportunity to say goodbye to your small group until 9:15, and then we will proceed with the "A"s' Academy commencement at 9:30 a.m. Immediately following the ceremony, you will be free to leave in your car& or you will get on a bus at 10:30 a.m. that will take you to the airport.
