Bothwell Promoted to Coordinator of Field Operations

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – The Delta Chi Fraternity and Executive Director Jerod Breit are excited to announce the promotion of Nathan Bothwell to Coordinator of Field Operations, as announced Friday, December 9, 2022. Bothwell previously served as a Senior Leadership Consultant and has been on staff since June 2021.

“I am thrilled to announce the promotion of Nathan Bothwell,” Breit said. “We are all looking forward to what he will bring to the team in this new role.”

As a Leadership Consultant, Bothwell saw continued success while working on expansions. He assisted in establishing provisional chapters at Colorado, Villanova, and Illinois State, while providing coaching to 17 chapters. He acted as a skilled facilitator in both new member and Founding Father education, and thrived in assisting chapters with officer training, ritual exemplification, and more.

“Nathan has made substantial contributions to the organization in both growth and chapter services,” Kassi Ward, Director of Field Operations, said. “He’s been a hardworking, thoughtful, and diligent member of the team, and most importantly, he’s always been dedicated to providing Delta Chi members with impeccable support. I am beyond excited to see him take another step forward in this new role as he continues to work with our chapters and provisional chapters.”

Prior to working for Delta Chi, Bothwell was a member of the Kansas State Chapter, earning a double-major in Political Science and Communication Studies in May 2021. While at Kansas State, he served as a Student Governing Association intern, later becoming a student senator for the College of Arts and Sciences. He held a number of positions in the organization, including intern program coordinator, speaker pro tempore, and speaker of the Student Senate. He served as a campus tour guide and academic visit scheduler for the New Student Services Department and was involved in other organizations, including Quest Freshman Honorary, Model United Nations, and Blue Key Senior Honorary.

“I love the opportunity that I have to help guide and coach undergraduate students,” Bothwell said. “My experience in Delta Chi helped give me new skills, new friendships, and a newfound confidence that I didn’t have before. Now … I get the chance to give back and help instill similar skills and confidence in other groups of students.”
